After P5000, Elephone has launched another big battery smartphone, the Elephone P4000 running Android 5.0 lollipop for $130 US (Approx 8,300 INR).

Talking about hardware, the handset is powered by 64 bit MT6735 chipset with 4 cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. The chipset is further aided by Mali T720 GPU, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable internal storage. This sounds like a very decent offering for its price. The chipset is a Snapdragon 410 competitor and beats it in day to day performance based on some leaked benchmark scores circulating the web.

The 5 point multitouch IPS LCD display is 5 Inches in size, furnished with 720p HD resolution. For photography, there is a 13 MP primary rear camera capable of recording full HD videos. The highlight remains the massive 4800 mAh battery packed inside, which also supports rapid charging.
