OnePlus has rolled out 3 much appreciated smartphones till date named the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and the latest OnePlus X. The response OnePlus has received is good and a large part of the credit goes to the marketing folks who have managed to maintain a good market reputation in almost no time.
Few days ago, the rumored OnePlus 2 Mini was seen making headlines after it was spotted on GFXBencmark listing. Once again, the alleged OnePlus 2 Mini has surfaced online. It was now been certified by TENAA, and has been codenamed E1000. Some leaked images of the device with the specifications were also seen. It looks very much alike the recently launched OnePlus X.
According to the leaked specifications, the device sports a 4.9 inch FHD AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Under the hood, it is said to be powered by a 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3 GB of RAM. The GPU is said to be Adreno 430.
It is said to have Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest version of Oxygen OS on top. It will have 16 GB internal storage expandable up to 128 GB via microSD. On the camera front, it is rumored to have a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front facing camera.
The device will offer connectivity options like 4G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. If the weight and dimensions are concerned, it just 139 grams and measures 140x69x6.9 mm. This makes it obvious that it will be light weight and sleek.
However, these specifications differ from the one spotted earlier on GFXBench. The earlier report revealed that the OnePlus 2 Mini will sport a 4.6 inch Full HD display and a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The secondary camera is a 5 MP unit, while the latest report says it will have an 8 MP unit.
The leaks and speculations are not always up to the mark and the OEM has not made any announcements about their plans to launch the OnePlus 2 Mini. So we have to wait and see what really is coming next.
