Sony announced a bunch of new member of X-series devices. The new Sony Xperia  X launched with Xperia X and Xperia XA Ultra. It comes under mid-range segment devices. This new Xperia device comes with a plastic body construction but the design looks very eye candy. it has a slightly curved glass edges from the front with almost bezel-less like design, and a white matte-plastic on the back. Overall the phone looks attractive. This phone comes at a price of 20,990 INR.

It runs on a Mediatek Helio P10 octa-core chipset alongwith 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It sports a 13MP rear and a 8MP front camera. It runs on the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. And to power it up, it has a 2300mah capacity of battery.

Answer-  Even though Xperia XA is made up of plastic, it looks appealing to the eyes. The bezel less side frames gives it a sophisticated appearance. It looks like a regular Xperia phone with a matte plastic on the back. The omni balance design has been carried to this new phone and the phones feel light and small. Obviously it isn’t as premium as the metal phones, but it isn’t bad either.

Question- Does the Xperia XA Have microSD Expansion option?

Answer- Yes, it does offer microSD expansion which is expandable up-to 200GB.

Question- Does the Xperia XA Have Dual SIM Slots?

Answer- Yes, it has dual SIM slots, both supports Nano-SIM cards

Answer- No, the Xperia X comes with Scratch-resistant glass.

Answer- On the paper it seems like a regular 13MP camera, but it’s quite nice camera and has some great features. The 1/3 inch Sony Exmor lens improves image stabilization. The camera  has a new “Hybrid Auto Focus and Object Tracking” feature. It focus faster and predicts motions intelligently.

Question- Does it have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) ?

Answer- No, it doesn’t has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Question- Is there any in-built power saver in the Xperia XA?

Answer- Yes, it has a Stamina mode to save the power.

Question- Is there any dedicated camera shutter button in the Xperia XA?

Answer- Yes, it has a dedicated camera shutter button.

Answer- We are yet to confirm that.

Answer- No,  it doesn’t support tap to wake.

Answer- We did not experience any heating issues in our time with the phone.

Answer- Yes, it can be connected to a Bluetooth headset.

Answer- Yes, you can create hotspot to share internet from this device.

Conclusion

The slim bezels, the 13MP hybrid autofocus camera, lovely design and other set of features looks to be a fine combination, but doesn’t appear to have any standout feature. We would have loved to see some better specs like a good processor (like Helio x10 or Snapdragon 650), at least 3GB of RAM, 32GB of memory and a Full-HD display.  We weren’t convinced that this will be enough to stand this phone in the competition where we already have phones with some good set of specs.
