Samsung has launched the Galaxy J2 Ace, a device with 4G VoLTE support in India. The device has been priced at Rs. 8,490. The device is the latest budget smartphone in Samsung’s J series.
Samsung also launched another budget smartphone, dubbed as Galaxy J1 4G for Rs. 6,890, which was listed on the company’s website last week. The J2 Ace will be available in Black, Gold, and Silver color options starting from today.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace Specs
The Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device features a 5 inch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~220 PPI.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6737T processor clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. The device comes with 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace features an 8 MP auto focus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, an LED Flash, and can record videos up to 720 pixels @ 30 FPS. On the front, the device sports a 5 MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash for improved low light selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The device comes with dual SIM support.
