Xiaomi revealed that it is going to hold a double product launch on July 26. Apart from the much talked about Mi 5X, the company will also release the next big update to its custom interface, MIUI 9, on the same date.

This time, when only a week is left for the announcement of the device, some press renders have leaked out straight from the official website of Chinese smartphone maker. It gives us a sneak peek at the color variants of the upcoming Mi 5X.

It is clear from the images, that the device will be available in gold, black, and rose gold colors. This color selection is something like standard color selection these days.

Also, apart from the colors, the press release confirms the previous rumors and leaks. It was leaked earlier that the device will be sporting a dual-camera setup at the rear and a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device.

The Mi 5X will be featuring a full metal body. If we recall the leaked specs, the device is likely to feature 4GB RAM, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and notably the efficient Snapdragon 625 chipset.

The event for both the Mi 5X and MIUI is going to be held in China on July 26th.
