Tinder App Gets Updated With UI Improvements, Bigger Photos

Tinder app has recently received a redesign. The free mobile dating app has touched 100 million downloads on Android. The update brings easier navigation through profiles, bigger profile images, and an overall smooth User Interface.

Tinder is a location-based social search mobile app. It facilitates communication between mutually interested users. In simple words, Tinder is an online dating and match-making application.

Updates on Tinder

The latest update does not bring major changes but small optimizations to the application.

Improved Navigation

Tinder now features improved navigation through applications. Now you can tap on the left or right edges of a picture to swipe through images. Also, tapping on the bottom lets you see the complete info of a user including their Bio, shared connections and Anthem.

Bigger Images

The user profiles on your tinder app will appear bigger now. The new edge-to-edge design stretches images to the corners of your device, giving a better user experience and a bigger view of the images. This a good cosmetic update for Tinder.

Previous Updates To Tinder

Tinder has come a long way since its inception in 2012. The app’s usage is rapidly increasing here in India as well.

Tinder Gold

It is the recent updates from Tinder. It is members-only service and gives exclusive benefits like Passport, Rewind, Unlimited Likes, five Super Likes per day, one Boost per month, and more profile controls.

Tinder Online- Swipe Anywhere

This is an older update that Tinder got. This introduced the app’s ‘Swipe’ interface to Tinder’s website. This update was all about consistency and good user experience across platforms.

Other apps similar to Tinder

Tinder has enjoyed the early bird advantage into online dating. With its easy user interface and wide user-base, you will find it works really well. But for those of you who love to try alternatives, there are some apps.

OkCupid is one alternative for tinder. This app offers you personality based questions, based on which it shows you potential matches. This is a good opportunity to filter people who actually have a similar point-of-view, rather than selecting based on profile.

Plenty of Fish

Another alternative to Tinder. Plenty of Fish has the biggest user base so far. This is a completely free application with easy user interface.
