Swipe is currently promoting the Slate Pro as the ‘Most Affordable 10-inch display in Tablet in India’. The tablet is a 4G enabled and features a 10.1-inch HD (1280 x 800p) IPS-LCD display. The device features thick bezels on all four sides. In terms of cameras, the Swipe Slate Pro offers you a Visio 5MP camera with flash at the back and a 2MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Coming to hardware, the tablet runs on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz. This processor is accompanied by 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. You also get up to 32GB expansion option using a microSD card.

In the software department, Swipe has decided to keep the Swipe Slate Pro with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, it is a slightly obsolete version of Android, it is still functional for an entry-level tablet. It would’ve been better if it came with Android 7.0 Nougat.

Powered by a big 5,000 mAh battery, the Swipe Slate Pro features Dual SIM with 4G VoLTE connectivity. Other connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB port and a 3.5mm earphone jack.

Pricing and Availability

The Swipe Slate Pro tablet is priced at Rs. 8,499 and comes in Champagne Gold color. The tablet is available for purchase at Flipkart along with other products (smartphones) from Swipe. The tablet comes with 1-year warranty and 6-month warranty for the in-box accessories.
