Chinese smartphone maker Honor had unveiled its View 10 smartphone earlier this month at the Honor 7X launch event in London. The company announced at that time that the Honor View 10 would be available in India and globally starting January 8 at a price of EUR 499.
Now, registrations for the View 10 are starting today, December 28 on Amazon India and the sale will kick off on January 8, 2018. Honor View 10 is the latest flagship from Huawei’s sub brand Honor. The device comes with the tag ‘Your first AI Phone’. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the device.
Honor View 10 Specifications
The Honor View 10 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s custom skin EMUI 8.0 on top. It sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. With the device, Huawei continues the trend of 18:9 displays with minimal bezels. The phone has a front-facing fingerprint scanner.
The Honor View 10 is powered by a Kirin 970 chipset which has a built-in dedicated NPU (neural-network processing unit). The Honor View 10 packs an Octa-core CPU coupled with Mali-G72 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB.
In the camera department, the Honor V10 features a dual camera setup at the back. The dual camera consists of a 16MP RGB sensor and a 20MP monochrome sensor with features such as PDAF, f/1.8 aperture, and dual LED flash. On the front, the View 10 sports a 13MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Honor View 10 is powered by a 3,750mAh battery and it supports Honor’s fast charging technology. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, Infrared port and a USB Type-C port.
Honor has not yet revealed the price of the View 10 in India. However, the company announced that the device would cost €499 in Europe, which roughly translates to Rs. 38,000 in India. However, the exact pricing will be known on January 8 only. The smartphone will be available in Navy Blue, Midnight Black, Beach Gold, Aurora Blue and Charm Red color options.
