Moto Z3 Play press images leaked: 18:9 display, dual rear cameras, more

Moto Z3 Play, the upcoming mid-range device from Lenovo-owned Motorola has been spotted online after the press images of the device were leaked. The device has been in the news for some time now due to various leaks and rumours.

Earlier, the renders of the device were leaked and later, the Indigo color variant of the device was spotted online. Now, the press images of the device have leaked online, revealing the complete design. The device features a design similar to the Moto Z2 Play, however, it comes with an extra button on the left side.

While there has been no announcement what this button will be used for, we can guess that this is either going to be used for Google Assistant like Google Pixel devices or Moto Actions or Motorola could use it as an Alert slider like OnePlus and Apple.

The Moto Z3 Play is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo and feature a 6.1-inch Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass  protection. It will come with water repellent nano coating.

In terms of performance, the Moto Z3 Play will be powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. In terms of memory, the device will be available in two variants  –  4GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Moto Z3 Play features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 12MP primary camera and a secondary 8MP camera. On the front, the device sports a 5MP selfie camera.

The Moto Z3 Play will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery with Turbo Charge support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
