Xiaomi has finally announced Redmi Note 7 launch date in India and it is February 28th. The company has said that it will also open registrations to buy the launch event tickets later today.

The company’s Redmi India Twitter handle posted the launch invite with “DO NOT keep calm, #ǝɟᴉ7ƃnɥʇ will be unveiled on 28th Feb 2019!” caption. This clearly hints at the Redmi Note 7 India launch in India.

Moreover, Xiaomi also gives a link to register for the launch event tickets. There are limited tickets for the launch event in Delhi, but if you are interested you can register here.

Redmi Note 7 Specifications

The company launched its latest mid-range smartphone Redmi Note 7 in China last month. To recall its specs, the new phone comes with a 6.3-inch
Full HD+ (2340 ×1080 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch. It comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU. It packs at least 3GB RAM and comes with up to 6GB RAM. The storage options are 32GB storage and 64GB storage that are expandable up to 256GB with microSD.

In terms of camera, it has a 48MP primary rear camera which is the highlight of the phone. The primary camera comes with LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS and there is a 5MP secondary camera. It sports a 13MP front camera.

The smartphone runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 on top. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 7 price in China starts at 999 yuan (Rs. 10,390 approx.). We will know its price in India when it is launched later this month.
