Xiaomi launched it’s first Android Go smartphone in India today. The Redmi Go was announced last month in Philippines and now it comes to India at a starting price of Rs. 4,499. The key features of the smartphone include a 5-inch HD screen, Snapdragon 425 processor with 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 4G VoLTE support.

Xiaomi‘s first Android Go phone Redmi Go comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720pixels) display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with 1GB RAM. It packs 8GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB.
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition and comes with all lite apps. The Dual SIM phone has several connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS. The device packs a 3000mAh battery.
In terms of camera, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.12μm pixel size. It comes with a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12μm pixel size. Dimensions of the device are 140.4x 70.1 x 8.35mm and its weight is 137g.

The Xiaomi Redmi Go is priced at Rs. 4,499. It comes in Black and Blue colors and it will go on sale starting March 22 on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. Jio users will get Rs. 2200 cashback and 100GB data with this phone.
