New LG W Series Budget Range Phone Launching Soon in India; Details Inside

LG is planning to introduce a new W series of smartphones in India. The company has been silent for some time especially in the budget and mid-range smartphone segment in India. However, it seems that the new series will be budget to mid-range just like Samsung’s M series.

Amazon India has posted a teaser under ‘Amazon Specials’ section regarding the launch of the new LG W-series smartphone. The teaser reveals some key features of the smartphone including dewdrop notch and triple rear cameras.

LG W Series Smartphone Features

The teaser shows that the new W series smartphone will come with a dewdrop notch display. The company also teases that the notch can be customized on display according to the user’s preference.

If we talk about design, the smartphone seems to have a gradient back, though it’s not clear if this will be plastic or glass. The smartphone will come in three colors- Black, Blue, and Green.

In terms of camera, it will sport AI-powered triple rear cameras. The triple camera setup is expected to be a combination of a regular sensor, a wide angle lens and a depth sensor for capturing portrait mode photos.

The cameras will come with various modes like portrait, night mode, wide angle, bokeh and more. The teaser page also contains some camera samples taken with the triple rear camera including a wide-angle shot, a low light image, and a portrait mode picture.

LG W Series India Launch, Price

The teaser also reveals that the upcoming LG smartphone will come with a “Pocket Worthy-Price Tag”. This suggests that the company might bring it in the budget segment of the Indian market. Since the ‘Notify Me’ page is now live on, we expect LG will soon launch the new W series in the country.
