HONOR 9X, HONOR 9X Pro Launched: Full Specifications, Price & Availability

HONOR launched the HONOR 9X and 9X PRO smartphones at an event in China today. Both the new phones come with mostly similar features including a pop-up selfie camera design, the latest Kirin 810 processor, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery.

The Honor 9X Pro has more RAM, triple cameras with a 48MP sensor and supports liquid cooling just like the View20. The 9X has a dual camera set up with the same 48MP sensor and less RAM than 9X Pro.

HONOR 9X, HONOR 9X Pro Specifications

Both the HONOR 9X and 9X Pro sport a 6.59-inch Full HD+(2340 x 1080 pixels) full-screen display without any notch. They sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Under the hod, they both are powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 810 7nm processor with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. The 9X packs 4GB or 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage. The 9X Pro packs 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB.

Both the smartphones run on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1.1 on top. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. They both pack a 4000mAh battery.

In terms of camera, they sport a 48MP primary camera with 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, and a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture on 9X Pro. They both flaunt a 16MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Dimensions of the phone are 163.1×77.2×8.8mm and its weight is 206g.

Price, Availability

The HONOR 9X price starts at 1399 yuan (Rs. 14,0175) for the 4GB/64GB version and goes up to 1899 yuan (Rs. 19,025 approx.) for the top-end 6GB/128GB version. It comes in Midnight Black, Blue, and Red Colors and will be available in China from July 30.

The HONOR 9X Pro price starts at 2199 yuan (Rs. 22,035 approx.) for the 8GB/128GB version and goes up to 2399 yuan (Rs. 24,040 approx.) for the top-end 8GB/256GB version. It comes in Midnight Black, Phantom Blue Colors and will be available from August 9 in China.
