Samsung Galaxy A50s India Launch on September 11: Expected Price, Features & Specs

Samsung has upgraded it’s Galaxy ‘A series’ with the new Galaxy A50s and A30s smartphones last month. Now, the company has announced that it will launch a new Galaxy A Series phone in India on September 11. Going by the teasers and a contest run by the company, we could see the Galaxy A50s launch in India on that day.

The Galaxy A50s has a few upgrades from its predecessor Galaxy A50 which was launched back in February. It comes with an upgraded 48-megapixel triple camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. Rest of the specs like Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, Exynos 9610 processor and 4,000mAh battery are same.

Also, the upcoming Galaxy A50s has a new prima cut geometric pattern on the back with a holographic effect. Let’s check out full specs and expected price.

Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy A50s sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U type Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI.

It is also powered by the same Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU and paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable up to 512GB.

The phone has a 48MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP depth sensor. The ultra-wide camera will let you shoot smooth videos for fast-action moments. It will have a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS+GLONASS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm jack. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

Expected Price in India

The new Samsung Galaxy A50s was announced in Indonesia at a price tag of Rp 4099000 which is roughly Rs. 20,800. So we can expect the Galaxy A50s price in India will be around Rs. 20,000. We will know the availability details when it launches on Wednesday.
