WhatsApp has finally released the most awaited feature in the app called Dark mode and Android users already received this feature. The iOS users also got this feature but only in the beta mode but the WhatsApp beta programme for iOS is currently full. So, the only way to get this update is through the TestFlight programme.
WhatsApp still working to bring the dark mode to the stable version for the Android users. The WhatsApp beta version already got this feature working completely fine. Joining beta in Android is a lot easier than in iOS, you just have to install the beta apk file on your phone.
Join the TestFlight programme
TestFlight Programme lets you test the beta builds of the apps from the developers to test the new features before everyone else. Just install the TestFlight app from the App Store on your IOS device. Tap the link in the mail which you got for the beta testing and install the update from there. Once the update is installed, you will get the new beta features in the app.
How to enable Dark mode in WhatsApp on iOS
- Launch WhatsApp.
- Navigate to Settings > Chat.
- Tap on Theme option.
- Choose Dark theme.
WhatsApp may release the final version which will change the app theme according to the device’s theme. But you have to switch between the dark and light theme manually every time.
