You Can Now Transfer Your Facebook Pictures to Google Photos, Here’s How

Facebook has just released a new media transfer tool which lets you back up all your photos and videos to the Google Drive storage. This tool released recently by Facebook itself and it is available to use globally. This handy tool was initially available in the US and Canada but recently Facebook made this feature available to everyone.

Steps to backup Facebook picture and videos to Google Drive

  1. First, log in to the Facebook account and then go to the drop-down menu in the top right corner.
  2. Click on Settings and Privacy and then go to settings then choose Your Facebook Information option.
  3. Now you have to choose from videos or pictures were and once you decide that you will be redirected to the Google photos sign-in screen.
  4. Now all you need to do is hit the transfer button and wait for all the pictures to get transferred.

If this tool is still not visible to you then you have to wait for some time till Facebook makes sure to make it available to everyone. If you don’t have a Google Photos account because you are an iPhone user, don’t worry this won’t take much time to set up a new account.
