Xiaomi Mi 5 Competition

The Xiaomi Mi 5 comes in three different variants and these variants differ in pricing by a lot. The base model starts at 1999 Yuan, whereas the top model, called the Mi 5 Pro is priced at 2699 Yuan. There are a lot of devices that you can put up against the Mi 5, but the best ones that come to mind are the following.

With the base model of the Mi 5, the Xiaomi’s own Mi 4s would be a great competitor. They both are priced the same and offer different specifications in that same price.

Comparing with the top model, the Mi 5 Pro, it can be pitted against the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the LG G5, because all these devices are powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset, and offer similar performances. Though the version of Samsung Galaxy S7 that we will see in India will most probably be the Exynos version and not the Snapdragon version, but still.

This should enable the phone to run flawlessly without any hiccups.

Android Marshmallow Based MIUI 7

The phone will ship with Android Marshmallow based MIUI 7, the first time that Xiaomi will ship a device with Android Marshmallow. Along with the Mi 5, the new Mi 4S will also ship with the Android Marshmallow based MIUI 7.
