Airtel Rs 249 plan offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls

Bharti Airtel has introduced a new tariff plan to counter the Reliance Jio’s offerings. Airtel has announced a Rs 249 plan and also revised its Rs 349 plan for prepaid users. The company has also announced a Rs 649 plan and a Rs 499 plan for the prepaid users before these latest plans.

Airtel is offering a new Rs 249 plan for an open market where anyone can avail this plan from the My Airtel Subscription or from the Airtel website. Airtel is giving 2GB  data per day for 28 days with the tariff plan and in addition, the user will get the unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Airtel is providing a total of 56GB of 4G data for 28 days.

This new plan of Airtel is announced to counter the Reliance Jio‘s tariff plan of Rs 198 which is also offering 56GB of data with it. Airtel also revised its Rs 349 plan which now offers a total of 3GB data per day which was 2.5GB per day previously. Airtel revised this plan to compete with Reliance Jio’s Rs 198 tariff plan which offers 56GB of data benefits.

Airtel users are now getting 84GB of 4G data for 28 days which is up from the 70GB data previously available with the plan. With the new Rs 249 plan from Airtel and the Rs 349 revised pan, Airtel is trying to target the customers who need a lot of data for less price.


Another plan joins this list of plans which is a Rs 499 prepaid plan which also announced recently offering 2GB of data per day. It comes with 82 days of validity and offers 100 SMS per day.
