Celkon has been focusing on the entry level markets since last few months and the latest addition to its budget portfolio is Celkon A35C, which lists standard set of entry level hardware and latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
The display is 3.5 inches in size with HVGA resolution. The dual core processor is backed by only 256 MB RAM and 512 MB internal memory. Imaging hardware includes a 2 MP rear and a VGA front camera for basic selfies.
There is no 3G connectivity, understandably so. You can access internet via 2G, and other options include MicroSD support, LED Flash, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP. All hardware is powered by 1200 mAh battery.
The Dual SIM smartphone has fairly basic hardware, which should suffice only for basic usage. With only 256 MB of RAM and limited Internal storage your Android experience will be very limited. In case you are interested in downloading and experimenting with several apps, this isn’t the phone for you.
The phone targets first time Android users switching from feature phones and interested in basic usage. Except Android, other options include Firefox phones and Nokia Asha series.
