Talking of technical specifications, ZTE Grand X Max+ boasts of a 6 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels that will indeed provide only a usable pixel count of 246 ppi and not something exceptional. The handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC that uses a quad core Cortex A7 processor at 1.2 GHz, Adreno 305 graphics unit and 2 GB of RAM.

Storage wise, the ZTE phablet makes use of 16 GB of default storage support that can be further expanded externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. The primary shooter in the ZTE Grand X Max+ is a 13 MP sensor that is accompanied with LED flash and there is a 5 MP front facing selfie camera for video conferencing. This is a major bump from the 1 MP front facer on the ZTE Grand X Max that was launched last year.

ZTE Grand X Max+ supports 3G LTE connectivity along with the usual ones and houses a 3,200 mAh battery that should pump in 6.5 hours of talk time that is very low. However, it is claimed that there is support for QuickCharge 1.0 that will refuel the battery faster. Furthermore, there is Dolby support for enhanced audio output that will render a better movie watching experience.
