Google launched its Chromecast dongle couple of months ago, which provided for an easy hazel free way to view your online videos from websites like YouTube, on your Television Screen. This device has now been listed on Amazon India website where iBhejo is selling it for Rs. 3,999.
The device is also available for purchase from AmazonGlobal shipping as was reported by AndroidOs.in, the device will cost you $35 and extra shipping charges of around 1,800 for expedited shipping which results in the same value for which the Amazon India seller is selling it and promising to deliver within 5 to 7 working days. You can also opt for standard shipping and save around Rs. 500 but your device will be delayed by couple of weeks or more.
The Chromecast is a streaming dongle with built in Wi-Fi support which you can plug in your TV using a HDMI port. You can directly stream online videos from YouTube to your TV and can remote control it using your Computer, tablet or smartphone.
Chromecast directly streams the videos from the internet and you can use your device for something else once the streaming starts. Chromecast App which is used to setup Chromecast is available for US users only and thus if you buy Chromecast now, you will have to download App APK from the internet. You don’t need a Wi-Fi enabled TV for using Chromecast, only TV requirement is HDMI port.
