Apart from Huawei Mediapad X1, Huawei has also presented Huawei Ascend M1, an 8 inch tablet with mid range specifications. It is the less expensive of the two and thus hardware is not exactly top notch.

The 8 inch display features 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and the tablet is powered by 1.6 GHz quad core processor similar to MediaPad X1. The device is only 7.9 mm thick which makes it comfortable to hold in Hand. The tablet will be available in 8 GB and 16 GB storage variants with 32 GB of expandable storage.

The MediaPad M1 flaunts dual frontal speaker. Huawei has definitely surprised us with the improved design language on both of these devices. The battery capacity is 4800 mAh. Another highlight is the 4 G LTE cat 4 Connectivity. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 and also has a SIM card slot for calling. We will update you with more specs soon.

You can share your screen using AirSharing feature and can also transfer images via cloud sharing. The Huawei MediaPad M1 will first arrive in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, China, Japan, Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America.
