The OnePlus 6 has been launched in India at an event in Mumbai today alongside the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition variant. The company’s latest flagship smartphone has several new things to offer, most notably, the notch display and premium glass back.

The OnePlus 6 was unveiled globally in London yesterday. The phone is now unveiled in India alongside the Marvel Avengers Limited Edition that was launched in China earlier today. The company has also launched OnePlus Bullet Wireless earphones as well.

OnePlus 6 Price in India, availability and launch offers

OnePlus 6 price in India starts at Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant. While the 8GB RAM / 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 39,999. The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition price in India is priced at Rs. 44,999. The company has also announced some launch offers as well.

There are three color variants of OnePlus 6 – Midnight Black, Mirror Black, and Silk White Limited Edition. The regular OnePlus 6 color options will go on sale via pop-up stores across 8 cities in India between 3:30 PM and 8 PM on May 21 and between 11 AM and 7 PM on May 22. Online, it will be available via Amazon India in an Early Access sale for Prime members on May 21 and open sale starts from May 22. It will also be available via the OnePlus online store in India.

The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition will become available in open sale from Amazon on May 29. The Silk White Variant with 8GB RAM/128GB configuration will be made available in around three weeks. As for the OnePlus Bullets Wireless price in India, it has been priced at Rs. 3,999.

The device runs OxygenOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and Android P Beta build is also coming soon. The phone sports a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and an Adreno 630 GPU.

The dual camera setup on the device has a primary 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor with a 1.22-micron pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and EIS. The secondary 20MP Sony IM376K sensor comes with a 1-micron pixel size and a f/1.7 aperture. OnePlus is offering a Slow-Motion video recording with 480 fps at 720p for up to a minute.

The OnePlus 6 sports a 16MP front camera with a Sony IMX371 sensor, 1-micron pixels, f/2.0 aperture, and EIS. The front camera also offers Portrait Mode as well, using a new AI algorithm. It also supports Face Unlock feature on the smartphone  which the company claims can unlock the smartphone in as little as 0.4 seconds.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth v5.0 with aptX and aptX HD support, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C v2.0, and a 3.5mm jack. OnePlus 6 packs a 3,300mAh battery with the company’s Dash Charge fast charging technology. The OnePlus 6 also offers ‘daily water resistance.’

The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition smartphone was also unveiled today alongside the regular variant. Except from RAM (8GB) and storage (256GB), it packs the same specifications. Design wise, the special edition comes with a carbon fiber texture with Gorilla Glass 5 covering it, as well as OnePlus and Avengers logos on the back panel, and a gold color Alert Slider. It ships with an Iron Man protective case, and a random Avenger medal.
