Huawei watch which was first spotted in advertisement banners has been officially introduced at MWC 2015. Huawei’s first Android wear watch sure is a looker with classic design, slim bezels, full round display and cold forged stainless steel frame.
The dial has a 1.4 Inch high contrast ratio Super AMOLED display with 400x 400 pixels amounting to 286 pixels per inches. There is a scratch resistant sapphire glass crystal lens on top. 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage should provide sufficient horse power for smooth experience.
Huawei says it’s made of 130 components including a crown (will it have Apple Watch like functionality?). To enable its use as a fitness tracker, there is a 6-Axis motion sensor, Barometer and heart rate monitor.
Android wear devices didn’t do great last year and most tech pundits discern simplest looks and poor battery backup as primary culprits. While Huawei has the first part covered, the company didn’t talk about battery capacity in the new stylish Huawei watch. However, it did mention that battery will support Wireless charging.
Huawei Watch will be available in 20 countries including United States, United Kingdom, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates. No word on price or availability details yet.
