Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Specs Leaked, Hints At Dual Camera Setup

One of the upcoming phones from Xiaomi, the Redmi Pro 2 has come in news once again. Previously it was due to the rumors around its display design and now due to its specifications. Yes, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Specs are leaked and the spec sheet is surfacing on the internet. The successor of the Redmi Pro, the Pro 2 is expected to launch in the month of July.

The upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi is reported to feature 3GB RAM and the 4GB variant is not mentioned anywhere in the news. As the Redmi Pro was offered with a 4GB+128GB variant, its successor should also feature the same or a better variant.

It is also expected that the device will be featuring an LCD display with full HD resolution manufactured by TCL. However, the predecessor was offered with an OLED display and replacing it is a disappointing step by the manufacturer. The latest leak fails to explain the screen size of the smartphone but based on the previous rumors, the smartphone is likely to sport a 5.5 inch display size.

Camera specifications hint towards a dual camera setup which will include a 12MP Sony IMX362 primary sensor coupled with a 5MP Samsung S5K4E8 sensor. The front will feature a 16MP sensor. Powering the phone will be a Snapdragon 660 SoC. Additionally, the Redmi Pro 2 is expected to feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Magnetometer, and accelerometer.

As of now, the smartphone is expected to be revealed soon by the manufacturer and its availability in the market is scheduled for the month of July. There is no information about its pricing and going by the previously adopted pricing strategy, the smartphone will be priced equally or slightly higher than the predecessor.
