Xolo today unveiled the Xolo Era 3, Era 2V, and Era 3X as three new selfie-centric budget smartphones in India. While the Xolo Era 3 is the most basic phone, the Xolo Era 3X comes with the best hardware and the Xolo Era 2V is the mid specification phone.

All three smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat. Also, you get a 5-inch screen on the Xolo Era 3, Era 2V, and Era 3X. Other specifications of these phones include up to 3GB RAM and up to 16GB internal storage with the same MediaTek quad-core processor.

Let us start with the most affordable Xolo Era 3. The smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. The optics on the Xolo Era 3 are handled by a 5 MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera with an LED flash. You get a MediaTek 6737 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. Battery capacity on the Xolo Era 3 is 2,500 mAh.

Coming to the Xolo Era 2V, you get the same 5-inch HD display as the Era 3. In terms of cameras, the Xolo Era 2V comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 13MP selfie camera with an LED flash. It offers a MediaTek 6737 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The Xolo Era 2V packs a 3,000 mAh battery and also has a fingerprint sensor

The Xolo Era 3X is the device with best hardware among the three. It comes with a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. Optics comprise of 13MP cameras on the front and back with the front camera accompanied by moonlight flash. With a MediaTek 6737 processor, the Xolo Era 3X combines 3GB RAM with 16GB storage. This phone offers 3,00 mAh battery along with a fingerprint sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The Xolo Era 3, Era 2V, and Era 3X are all selfie-centric smartphones for youth. The Xolo Era 3 is priced at Rs. 4,999, the Era 2V is priced at Rs. 6,499 and the Xolo Era 3X is pegged at Rs. 7,999. The phones will be up for pre-order as Flipkart exclusives from 12:00 AM on October 14.
