YouTube Mobile Live Streaming, Super Chat Monetization Now Live

YouTube has just made Mobile Live Streaming available to popular content creators. The new feature was being tested for a while now, but it is finally out for channels with more than 10,000 subscribers. In addition to Mobile Live Streaming, YouTube has also rolled out a new Super Chat Monetization feature, allowing you to improve your revenue earnings.

What Is YouTube Mobile Live Streaming?

Announcing the availability of this feature on its mobile apps, YouTube revealed that Live Streaming will soon be available for all users, popular or not. At the moment, only those creators who have more than 10,000 subscribers are seeing this feature on their devices.

So, how does Live Streaming work, exactly, you ask? It is very simple. All you have to do is open the YouTube app and click on the Capture button. On the next screen, tap on Go Live. Then, enter a catchy title and capture a selfie, you will be on your way to streaming live.

YouTube Super Chat Monetization

To help content makers generate enough revenue, YouTube has also added Super Chat Monetization feature. This feature allows your viewers to make themselves stand out by purchasing chat messages. Their messages are highlighted in bright colors and stay pinned to the top of the chat window for up to five hours.

Here’s what YouTube had to say about this feature:

“Super Chat is like paying for that front-row seat in the digital age: it lets any fan watching a live stream stand out from the crowd and get a creator’s attention by purchasing chat messages that are highlighted in bright colors and stay pinned to the top of the chat window for up to five hours. Super Chat gives viewers a chance to add a little visual flair to their chats and gives creators a new way to keep connected to their fans while earning a little money on the side,”
