Following this trend, the Chinese multinational Huawei has been concentrating for some time on launching mid-range devices in the Indian market with decent hardware specifications.

The Ascend G730 sports a 5 MP camera on the rear with auto focus and LED flash. The camera comes with some exciting features such as Voice Photo, and allows Geotagging. The device features a 5.5 inch qHD Capacitive Multi-touch Display. The resolution is merely 540X960 giving the device a pixel density of about 200 pixels per inch. With a 5.5 inch phablet, you would’ve expected a higher resolution and low resolution can result in lack of clarity and sharpness in the display.
The Ascend G730 comes with Android 4.3 out of the box, and Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top. It provides Dual active noise reduction with a dedicated mic, SNS integration, an Organizer, Document viewer, Photo viewer etc. An accelerometer and a Proximity sensor are also included in the device.
