Lava is one of the India based vendors that has been too busy in churning out one or the other smartphones in to the market at competitive price tags. Lately, the firm announced the launch of the Lava Iris X1, a quad-core smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat to compete with the newly announced Moto E.
It appears like the company is all set to announce two more smartphones – Lava Iris 300 Style and Lava 3G 412 that have been listed on the official website. As of now, there is no information on when these phones will be officially announced or on their price tags.
The Lava Iris 300 Style flaunts a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen display that packs a resolution of 320×480 pixels and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. Fueled by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the handset packs a 2 MP primary camera, VGA front-facer, low 512 MB of internal storage that can be expanded with the help of a micro SD card and a mere 256 MB of RAM. Furthermore, the handset has connectivity features such as 2G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to keep the users connected and a 1,440 mAh battery.
Talking about the Lava 3G 412, it comes with better features including 3G and a larger display as compared to the other smartphone. It houses a 4 inch capacitive touch screen display carrying a resolution of 480×800 pixels and is equipped with a 1 GHz dual-core processor. The device has similar camera and internal storage capacity as the Lava Iris 300 Style. Other differences include 512 MB of RAM and a slightly larger 1,500 mAh battery.
While the pricing and availability of these smartphones are not known, we expect them to go on sale in the coming days.
