Following the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Xolo Q1000 Opus in May, the vendor officially announced that it will be rolling out the same for a slew of its handsets including Q700S, Q1010, Q1010i, Q3000 and more in June. As claimed, Xolo has announced on its official Facebook page that the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Q1010i is ready to install.
While the change-log brought in by the update is still not revealed, the users of Q1000 Opus have reported many issues after the upgrade. There were issues regarding Wi-Fi Chaos as the users were not able to turn on Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspot and Wi-Fi signal dropping issues after the update. Other issues include excessive lag, unreliable notifications, hanging problem, hasty changes in screen brightness and signal dropping on SIM cards.
It is believed that Xolo is working on a fix for the issues caused due to the Android KitKat update. In the meantime, it is not sure if the update to Xolo Q1010i is without any bugs.
