Xolo has launched its first hexa-core smartphone dubbed Xolo Play 6x-1000 for a price of Rs 14,499. Also, a few months back Karbonn Mobiles launched a hexa-core device, the Titanium Hexa bearing a price tag of Rs 16,900 that would go head on with the Xolo offering. Both of them will be competing with each other and here is a detailed spec comparison for you do decide the best suited one. Here’s a comparison of the both:
Display and Processor
The Xolo Play 6x-1000 comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display that has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The Karbonn Titanium Hexa on the other hand gets a 5.5 Inch FHD LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The LTPS (Low Temperature Poly Silicon) is faster and more integrated display with wide viewing angles, desired crispness. Also, the Karbonn phone has a scratch resistant glass and oleophobic coating that will resist fingerprints.
Both the handsets come with MediaTek MT6591 hexa-core processor coupled with a 2 GB of RAM for efficient multi-tasking. The chipset is superior in performance and is capable of delivering a decent backup.

Battery and Operating System
The battery unit of the Xolo Play 6x-1000 is a 2,100 mAh one and the same is claimed to deliver up to 14.75 hours of talk time on 3G, 532 hours of standby time and 6.81 hours of web browsing time as claimed by the company. On the other hand, Karbonn has not specified the battery backup delivered by the 2,050 mAh unit in the Titanium Hexa, but it expected to last for a lesser duration as it comes with a FHD display.
On the software front, both the smartphones run on Android 4.4 KitKat and they pack connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetoth and GPS along with the USB OTG aspect for easier transfer of content between two devices.

Conclusion
Titanium Hexa comes across as a really good big screen device however, its battery backup bogs it down. Though the Xolo Play 6x-1000 becomes a mid-ranger with average specs and performance, it struggles against the Karbonn phone in other aspects except for the battery.
