Titanium Hexa comes across as a really good big screen device however, its battery backup bogs it down. Though the Xolo Play 6x-1000 becomes a mid-ranger with average specs and performance, it struggles against the Karbonn phone in other aspects except for the battery.

  1. Having read your comparison, I have the following doubts… Giving the same a neutral approach.
    1) your eye cant differentiate anything above 230 ppi. So both should look the same. So where’s the advantage for the user?
    2) the resolution difference is by double between the phones. What’s the impact on graphic intensive games? Do they run smooth on both?
    3) the 5 mp cam on the karbon….Is it actually 5mp live pixels or just like other China phones with 8mp front cams that look like vga. Need a quality check on that.

You mentioned of xolo play as a mid ranger fighting hard. In what sense? Actual pixel count of the karbon phone is below 6.5 for the 13 mp. Do you have a Quality comparison test?
And average specs and performance….. Good one. But please have some grounds to say that. From the specs itself it’s obvious that the play will outperform performance wise cuz it just has half the work to do. I’d be glad if you could come up with a hands on performance comparison between play 6x and other phones that perform equally well and better.

    • Hi Siddharth,
this is comparison overview where we discus specifications and the hardware that is offered. we have had hands on with Karbonn Titanium Hexa and bits and pieces of that there in the comparison.

Author’s verdict is based on specifications and yes, its true that Xolo Play 6X will have a gaming advantage, i mentioned that point in Xolo Play 6X-1000 news coverage as well. we can tell more about performance after full review. (one small thing: difference in resolution will be noticeable)
