Microsoft chose Lumia 630 and 635 to be the launch vehicles of Windows Phone 8.1, but in case you are waiting to experience Windows Phone 8.1 on a high end lumia device, Microsoft will soon introduce Lumia 930 in India, perhaps before the Cyan update starts rolling out, as the handset is already listed on Flipkart with a coming soon tag.
The Lumia 630 comes with a 5 inch Full HD display embellished with 1080 x 1280 pixel full HD resolution. The display is smaller in size compared to Lumia 1520 with 6 Inches of display diagonal length and will appeal to users who need a less than phablet device. The ClearBlack AMOLED display will also enjoy Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.
The processor used is Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 processor with Quad core 2.2 GHz Krai 400 cores and Adreno 330 GPU. You will get 2 GB RAM on board and also 32 GB of non expandable internal storage.
Imaging hardware includes 20 MP Carl Zeiss optics PureView camera with Dual LED flash and 1.2 Mp front facing camera with 720p HD video calling ability. Both the rear and front camera remain similar to Lumia 1520, which performed quite well in our time with the device.
Battery capacity is 2420 mAh and you will get 432 hours of standby time and 15 hours of 3G talk time according to Nokia. Connectivity features include HSPA+, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GLONASS and GPS.
Nokia Lumia 930 is a good high end Lumia device, but it remains to be seen if Microsoft can keep the pricing better as compared to previous Lumia devices. Anything less than 35,000 INR will be a good price.
