Xolo has come up with a new smartphone called Xolo Q1001 that uses a quad core MediaTek chipset under its hood. The device is priced at Rs 6,199 and it is expected to be made available in the coming days. The handset is similar to the Xolo A1010 in terms of specifications that went on sale in February expect for a few differences.
The Xolo Q1001 is a dual SIM smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It houses a 5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 854×480 pixels that results in a pixel density of 196 pixels per inch. Under its hood, there is a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582M processor that is supplemented by Mali 400 MP2 graphics unit and 512 MB of RAM.

Storage aspects of the device include 4 GB of native storage space that can be expanded by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. The device makes use of a 5 MP main snapper at its back with LED flash and a VGA front facing selfie shooter as well. The other goodies onboard the Xolo Q1001 include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2,000 mAh battery.
