Conclusion

The Cool 1 is a much better specced smartphone compared to the Moto G4 Plus, on paper. There is a substantial difference in the performance gains from a mid-range Snapdragon 652 processor compared to Snapdragon 617. 4 GB RAM, dual camera setup on the back, a much bigger battery and the price of the Cool 1 also make it a better option compared to the Moto G4 Plus. That said, the software of the Cool 1 can be an issue for some users, especially because the Moto G4 Plus comes with an almost stock Android interface.

At the end of the day, it boils down to the user’s preferences – on a pure specs and price basis, the Cool 1 is a much better device. However, subpar software may be an issue to consider as well.
