The main USP of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is certainly its 6.44 inch Full HD display. The full metal unibody along with subtle antenna lines of the brand new smartphone is an eye candy too. Similar to the original Mi Max, the fingerprint scanner of the Mi Max 2 lies at the back of the handset.

Coming to the internals, the newest phablet packs the Snapdragon 625 SoC. This is a midrange chipset with eight Cortex A53 CPUs running at up to 2.0 GHz. This is combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of inbuilt storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Connectivity-wise, the latest smartphone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, etc. A huge 5300mAh battery will juice up the Mi Max 2. Fortunately, the phone will support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The successor of the Mi Max will cost 1699 Yuan (Rs. 15,961 approx.) for the 4 GB / 64 GB variant, while the 4 GB / 128 GB version will retail at 1999 Yuan (Rs. 18,800 approx.).
