Design and build
Starting with the build quality, the Google Pixel 2 XL comes with an Aluminum body with a hybrid water-resistant coating on top. The OnePlus 5T also comes with an Anodized Aluminum chassis and gives a premium look and feel.
While color options are limited on the OnePlus 5T, you get bright and vivid color choices for the Pixel 2 XL. When it comes to design and ease of one-hand-usage, we found that the OnePlus 5 is a more compact phone compared to the Google Pixel 2 XL which feels chunky at times.
Display
Coming to the display now, the Google Pixel 2 XL wins it by a huge margin. The Pixel 2 XL comes with a 6-inch pOLED Quad HD (2880×1440p) resolution display whereas the OnePlus 5T comes with a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2160p) resolution. Both the phones have offer a good amount of brightness and good viewing angles, thanks to the OLED panels.
The display on the Google Pixel 2 XL is an Always-On display while OnePlus sill does not have one. However, at half the price of the Pixel, the OnePlus 5T has a great and immersive display.
Cameras
While the Google Pixel 2 XL comes with a single 12.2MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and dual LED flash, the OnePlus 5T features a dual 16MP + 20MP camera setup with f/1.7 aperture.

Both the Google Pixel 2 XL and the OnePlus 5T fair closely in all the specifications. While the Pixel 2 XL is overhauled in terms of display, cameras, and the stock Android experience, the one plus 5T also delivers excellent performance at half the price of the Pixel 2 XL.
