For the uninitiated, the LG G series smartphones are mid-range devices from the company. They can be considered as a watered down version of the V series phones. This time however, the LG G7 is leaked with flagship level specifications in a league of its own.

To start with, leaks suggest that the device will come with a 6-inch OLED display featuring 3120 x 1440p resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The panel is tipped to feature a 900ppi display which is not seen in any phone so far and does not seem to be correct. The leaked images show a tall display with considerable bezels on the top and bottom.

Coming to the optics, the LG G7 is speculated to feature Dual 16MP rear cameras where the primary lens comes with OIS and the secondary one is a wide angle lens, both with f/1.6 aperture. The notch above the display is said to feature the 8MP wide-angle front-facing camera. The rear cameras are in a vertical orientation, unlike the LG devices so far.

Talking about the processor on the device, leaks show that the device is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor. Additionally, we may see two variants of the device i.e. 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB RAM and storage models. The LG G7 is also leaked to sport a 3,000mAh battery.
