Upcoming Phones in India in June 2019: Nokia 9, Galaxy M40, Honor 20 and More

Smartphone makers never stop launching new phones and every month we see a few more of them. There are at least seven to eight upcoming phones in India in June itself. So, if you have been planning to buy a new smartphone, you should wait a little more as there will be more choices for you to decide.

We tell you here all the upcoming phones in India within the next month.

These phones will be available in India in the coming month of June.

Black Shark 2

Xiaomi announced its first gaming phone in India just a few days back. The Black Shark 2 will be available from the first week of June. The key highlights of the gaming phone include Snapdragon 855 with up to 12GB RAM, liquid cooling, 3D touch AMOLED display, 48MP camera and much more. The Black Shark 2 price in India starts at Rs. 39,990.


OPPO Reno

Oppo Reno series was announced in India earlier this week and it will be available from June 7. The Reno series has two versions- the Reno and the Reno 10x Zoom Edition. The 10x Zoom Edition comes with Snapdragon 855 processor and a 48MP sensor in triple camera setup.

While the standard Reno packs Snapdragon 710 processor and it also has a 48MP sensor in dual camera setup. The common features include a notch-less AMOLED display with a shark fin pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The OPPO Reno price in India starts at Rs. 32,990 and the Reno 10X Zoom starts at Rs. 39,990.

Nokia 9 PureView

HMD launched this phone globally back in February at MWC 2019. Now the company has announced its launch date as June 6. The key features of Nokia 9 include Penta rear camera set up with ZEISS optics, pOLED display with HDR10 support, Snapdragon 845, in-display fingerprint scanner, IP67 rating, etc.

The Nokia 9 PureView is priced at $699 so its price in India is expected at around Rs 45,000.

Honor 20 Series

HONOR 20 series was also announced at an event in London earlier this week. The company has also announced that the HONOR 20 series will be launched in India on June 11. The HONOR 20 and HONOR 20 Pro are the two phones that have mostly similar specs except for a little difference in the camera, battery, RAM and storage.

The key features include a punch-hole display, Kirin 980 chipset, quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a 32-megapixel in-screen front camera. HONOR 20 costs 499 Euros (Rs. 38,785 approx.) and 20 Pro costs 599 Euros (Rs. 46,550 approx.).

Samsung Galaxy M40

Samsung has announced the launch date of the Galaxy M40 in India and it will be introduced on June 11. The teaser for the phone confirms Infinity O Display and triple rear cameras. The smartphone is expected to get a Snapdragon 675 processor and a 32MP sensor in triple rear cameras. We expect the Galaxy M40 price in India should be between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000.

ASUS Zenfone 6

ASUS Zenfone 6 was also launched earlier this month at an event in Spain. The smartphone sports a unique flip camera and a notchless full-screen display design. It has a 48MP+13MP dual camera set up that can be used as both front and rear cameras.

Other key features of the Zeonfone 6 include Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB RAM, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor along with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and 5,000mAh battery with QuickCharge 4.0. The Zenfone 6 price starts at 499 Euros (roughly Rs. 39,132).

Nubia Red Magic 3

Nubia has introduced it’s latest gaming phone Red Magic 3 in China. Now, Red Magic India has teased that the Red Magic 3 will be launched in June. Its key features include a 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 855 with up to 12GB RAM, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and 5,000mAh battery with 27W quick charging. The Red Magic 3 price starts 2899 yuan (Rs. 30,065 approx.)

Realme X

Realme X was launched in China earlier this month and it will also be launched in India very soon. The key features of the smartphone include an FHD+ AMOLED notch-less display and a 16MP pop-up front camera, in-display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 8GB RAM, and 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. The Realme X price starts at 1499 yuan (Rs. 15,325 approx.)

POCO F2/ POCO F2 Pro

Redmi K20 PRO

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand in China has introduced its Redmi K20 series and Xiaomi will also launch these phones in India, probably under flagship killer POCO brand. It is expected that the Redmi K20 may come to India as POCO F2 and the Redmi K20 Pro as POCO F2 Pro.

The Redmi K20 Pro packs a Snapdragon 855 processor and 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and the K20 has a Snapdragon 730 processor and 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor. They both sport 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, and 4000 mAh battery.
