You can pay this amount upfront at once or in instalments, but only through a credit card or the EMIs on credit cards.
How this plan works?
Flipkart Smart Upgrade Plan will allow you to use the new Samsung phone for 12 months. After which you can upgrade to a new phone from Samsung on Flipkart. You will need to order a new phone, call Flipkart and submit your existing smartphone.
The good thing about the plan is that you don’t need to pay anything extra for the new phone and this amount that you have already paid will be sufficient for the new phone. You pay 70% of the total price of a phone and switch to a new Samsung phone after a year. Which seems quite right as you shift to a new tech.
Moreover, in case you want to keep the purchased phone, you will be required to pay the remaining 30 per cent of the total price. However, not paying the remaining amount will authorize Flipkart to lock your device without any clarification.
To be noted, you cannot avail any other offer with this plan for example any exchange offer. This might be bad for those who are looking to replace their old phone. Still the Smart Upgrade is also not that bad, and just 70 per cent will get you the new one.
For example, you can buy Galaxy S20+ (MRP Rs. 77,999) for just Rs. 35,198 during the sale. Samsung is already offering Rs. 28,000 discount durung the sale, and after the smart upgrade plan you will need to pay only 70% and own the S20+ at just Rs. 35,198.
