Nokia Lumia 525 Unveiled, Sports 1GB RAM and IPS Display

A new budget phone (probably), Nokia Lumia 525 was unveiled yesterday. The phone is thought to be the successor of Lumia 520. The added specifications include a 1 GB RAM in Lumia 525 instead 512 MB in Lumia 520.

Other major features include a 4-inch WVGA (480×800) IPS LCD display which is responsive even when used with finger nails and gloves on. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor. 5 megapixel auto-focus camera allows you take video recordings of  720p HD quality. The camera also includes features like Nokia Smart Camera Cinemagraph lens, Panorama lens, and Bing vision.

Other than these, the phone is backed up by a 1430 mAh battery which according to Nokia, can deliver 336 hours of standby time and 17 hours of talk-time. Other added benefits include 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage like any other Lumia phones.

Pricing and Availability

Unfortunately there is not much information regarding the availability and pricing. However Nokia recently listed on their website that includes its availability in three regions – Africa, Asia Pacific and Middle East.
