It has been a while since Videocon came up with a new phone. The company has now launched the Videocon Cube 3 that comes with 4G VoLTE support and a special panic button that is found inside the SOS-Be Safe app, which uses the power button as a panic button to send out an SOS alert to pre-registered numbers in an emergency.
The SOS-Be Safe app also offers other safety features like Alert, Walk with ME and reach on time. This app uses the GPS to send the location of a user to their emergency contacts at regular intervals and alert other safety features. Let us take a look at the complete specifications of the phone.
Cube 3 has a 5 inches IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a 2.5 D curved glass on the top. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with MediaTek MT6735 chipset. It has 3 GB RAM and 34 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB via a microSD card. Operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Talking about the camera, it is equipped with a 13 MP primary camera with dual LED flash and PDAF. On the front it has a 5 MP shooter with a front flash. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB and 4G VoLTE support. This dual SIM smartphone is backed by a 3000 mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 8,490 and it will be, most probably, available through offline stores.
