AOC has announced the launch of a new entry level smartphone called AOC E40 that is based Android 4.4 KitKat platform and carries a pricing of Rs 5,299. Undoubtedly, it comes packed with basic specifications for this pricing.
The AOC E40 is given a 4 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor that is teamed up with Mali 400 graphics unit that is backed by 512 MB of RAM. There is a low 4 GB of native memory space in the AOC smartphone and it can be further expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.

The imaging aspects on the AOC E40 include a 2 MP main camera at its back with LED flash for a better low light performance in its class and a VGA front facer as well for video conferencing. The other aspects onboard the device include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS for connectivity and a 1,600 mAh battery to render a moderate backup to the device.

The handset comes with regional language input support with Adaptxt Keyboard as well. Furthermore, the AOC E40 comes preloaded with free F-Secure Antivirus and Anti-theft applications worth Rs 1,000 for a year. There is free subscription to Your Movies app that lets download of movies worth Rs 2,000 for 60 days, Music downloads and streaming via Hungama worth Rs 1,000 for 30 days and Free Reading with readwhere worth Rs 1,000 and other such freebies.
