After successfully announcing the first Mi Home Store in India, the Chinese tech manufacturer, Xiaomi has released the teaser image of its next upcoming Redmi smartphone. Along with the teaser, the company has also indicated that the new Redmi smartphone will be an Amazon India exclusive. Amazon India has also started taking registrations for notifications about the new smartphone.
In the teaser, a boy takes some selfies with a girl and the results were disheartening. This ends the teaser and indicates that the upcoming Redmi smartphone will have a special focus on the camera. According to speculations, the upcoming smartphone might feature a 5-inch HD (720 X 1280) pixels display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, paired to a 2GB RAM.

The inbuilt storage is expected to be 16GB which can be further extended via microSD. For imaging, the rear will feature a 13MP camera while the front might have a 5-megapixel camera. Fuelling the phone will be present a 4,000 mAh battery.
