Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Zenfone Max M2 launched in India: Price, specifications

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 smartphones are officially launched in India today. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 is the successor to the popular ZenFone Max Pro M1 and comes with several new features like the glass like back, notch display, and Snapdragon 660 chipset. It also sports dual rear camera and the similar size 5000mAh battery.

The Zenfone Max M2, on the other hand, is the successor to the Zenfone Max M1. The highlights of this budget phone are a metal back, notch display, a new Snapdragon 632 chipset, dual rear cameras, and a 4000mAh battery.

Zenfone Max Pro M2, Zenfone Max M2 Price in India

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 price in India starts at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB/32GB model. The 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 14,999. Lastly, the 6GB/64GB variant costs Rs. 16,999. The phone comes in Blue and Titanium colors and will go on sale via Flipkart from December 18.

The Zenfone Max M2 price starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB model. The 4GB/64GB variant is priced at Rs. 11,999. It comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors and will go on sale starting from December 20 via Flipkart.


ZenFone Max Pro M2 Specifications

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ (2280×1080 pixels) notch display with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, it gets an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor with up to 6GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

 

In the camera department, it sports a dual rear camera set up with a 12MP primary camera with Sony IMX486 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, and a 5MP secondary camera. The rear camera features PDAF and EIS as well. It sports a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and front LED flash.

In terms of connectivity, the phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS and GLONASS features. It has dedicated SIM card and microSD slots. The handset has a massive 5000mAh battery. It runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo and will get Android Pie next month. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and NXP Smart Amp support.

The Zenfone Max M2 sports a 6.3-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It gets Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor under the hood with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The storage is expandable with microSD.

In terms of camera, it also sports dual rear camera set up. There is a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera. It also supports EIS. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.

It also sports dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS + GLONASS. It packs a 4000mAh battery and runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports a 3.5mm audio jack and a back-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has support for NXP Smart Amp.
