The SAR value of a phone can also be checked even before purchasing it, via the eCommerce portal. Here’s how to check it:
1. Visit the listing of the phone you are willing to check the SAR value of.
2. Scroll down and locate the Technical Specifications of the product.
Here you will be able to find the SAR value, for both Head as well as the body of the phone.

Another way to check the SAR Rating of a phone, without even purchasing it, is via the brand’s official website. It is usually located under the legal section, certifications, or the support page, that discusses the RF radiation emitted from the phone.

Lastly, you can check the SAR Value from the phone’s settings as well. Here’s how to check it:
1. Go to Settings of your phone, then go to About Phone.
2. In the case of MIUI, there’s an additional step to tap on All Specs.
3. Now scroll down to Legal Information.
4. Now, tap on RF Exposure Information.
5. Scroll down further and tap on the category you are wishing to check the SAR Ratings for, for example, India, Taiwan, or the Rest of the World.
