Yu Yuphoria VS Lenovo A6000 Plus Comparison Overview

Yu Yuphoria brings amazing hardware spec sheet to a very low price of 6,999 INR, but Lenovo A6000 Plus is quite close with similar hardware, available for 7,499 INR. Display and Processor

Both of these handsets have 5 Inch IPS LCD display with 720 p HD resolution for crisp texts and icons. Both displays are of good quality with responsive touch, but Yuphoria benefits from Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Colors are tad bit better on Lenovo A6000 Plus

Both smartphones also use same chipset configuration. There is Snapdragon 410 quad core with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage to take full advantage of 64 bit computing. The performance and benchmark scores are also similar.

Camera and Internal Storage

Both smartphones have an 8 MP rear camera, but out of the two, Lenovo A6000 Plus seems to be the better performer especially in low light conditions. However, Yuphoria has a bigger front camera sensor (5 MP VS 2 MP) and can click better selfies compared to Lenovo A6000.


Internal storage is same on both smartphones and neither of the two support USB OTG. Both phones allow you to transfer apps to SD card.

Battery and Other Features

Battery capacity is similar on both devices, though Lenovo A6000 Plus has more battery juice (2300 mAh VS 2230 mAh). The Lenovo A6000 Plus has Android 4.4 KitKat based Vibe UI while Yuphoria has latest Android 5.0 Lollipop based Cyanogen 12 OS.

Yuphoria UI is closer to stock android in design, is lighter and is relatively bloatware free. Vine UI has several customization options, but Cyanogen 12 OS is better in this aspect and more evolved. Yuphoria also flaunts a metal side frame which makes it sturdier and adds to its premium feel.

Lenovo A6000 Plus has two speaker drivers on rear side which support Dolby digitial audio, whereas Yuphoria has Wolfson audio and AAC speakers enhanced with unidirectional sound. Audio quality of both of these devices is pretty mesmerizing.

Conclusion

Hardware is similar on both of these handsets, but Yuphoria has better software, lower price, better selfies shooter and is more sturdy with metal frame and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Lenovo A6000 Plus on the other hand benefits from slightly better rear camera.
