Gionee A1

Gionee had announced the launch of its latest device, the A1 earlier this week. The device was first unveiled during the MWC 2017. The company had not revealed the pricing of the device during the launch. Today, the company announced that the device will be priced at Rs. 19,999.

The Gionee A1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s custom UI Amigo OS 4.0 skinned on top. The device comes with a metal back with plastic borders on the top and bottom. The device comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.

The Gionee A1 features a 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~401 PPI. It comes with a 2.5D curved display. To protect the display, Gionee has used Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the device.

The Gionee A1 is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor clubbed with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Gionee A1 features a 13 MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus, LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The camera comes with features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and HDR. Coming to the main highligh of the device, the Gionee A1 features a 16 MP selfie camera on the front. The camera comes with f/2.0 aperture.

The Gionee A1 is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 4,010 mAh battery and comes with Fast Charge support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio and microUSB 2.0.
