Huawei’s Honor brand launched its latest budget phone Honor 8C in India today. The successor to Honor 7C comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ notch display, latest Snapdragon 632 processor with 4GB RAM, 13MP+2MP AI dual rear camera and 8MP front camera.
The new Honor 8C sports 3D nano-level texture design at the back that offers a unique light and shadow effect. It has a big 4000mAh battery that can offer up to two days of battery life. The Honor 8C price starts at Rs. 11,999 and it will go on sale from December 10.

The Honor 8C price in India starts at Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM/32GB storage version. While the 64GB storage version will cost Rs. 12,999. The phone will go on sale online via Amazon.in and Honor India online store starting from December 10.

The Honor 8C sports a 6.26-inch HD+(1520×720 pixels) notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it gets the latest Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm processor clocked at 1.8GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. Memory wise, it has 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage options. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
The dual-SIM phone has dedicated SIM card and microSD card slots. Other connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. It packs a 4000mAh battery.
In terms of camera, there is a dual rear camera set up with a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. It supports AI scene recognition for over 500 scenarios in 22 categories. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, and AI Beautify features.
The dimensions of the phone are 158.72×75.94×7.98mm and its weight is 167.2g. There is a back mounted fingerprint sensor. The device comes in Aurora Blue and Midnight Black color options.
