LG V30+ with FullVision display goes on sale in India – Price, offers and more

Korean tech giant LG unveiled the LG V30+ here in India last week, and the flagship offering will be on sale starting today. While it was launched at a hefty price tag in Korea, the company has competitively priced it in India.

The LG V30+ is an overhauled LG V30 that comes with more storage space. It shares specifications like the 6-inch display, Dual cameras, and an H-Beam build with the LG V30. The device will be sold starting today, as an Amazon Exclusive.

LG V30+ Specifications

LG V30+

To recall, LG launched their 2017 flagship, the LG V30 at the IFA 2017 back in August. The phone comes with 4GB and 64GB onboard storage. The company saved the higher storage variant, the LG V30+ for a later announcement, with the India launch of the V30+ taking place last week.

The device, now on sale in India, comes with a 6-inch FullVision P-OLED display with Quad HD+ resolution. LG has replaced the secondary display with a floating button that helps in a quick overview of shortcuts. This phone is backed by a Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. You get a higher 128GB storage on the Plus variant.

In terms of optics, the phone is packing 16MP + 13MP dual camera combination at the back, featuring a f/1.6 aperture lens. The front-facing 5MP camera also comes with f/2.2 aperture. In their flagships, LG has also used glass lenses instead of plastic to offer superior imaging.

Running Android 7.1.2 Nougat with LG UX 6.0+ skinned on top, the V30+ will get an update to Android 8.0 Oreo. The build of the phone is IP68 water and dust resistant. Not only that, the phone is even Military grade certified with the MIL-STD 810G certification.

Backed by a 3,300 mAh battery, this phone comes with a single SIM slot. You get Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, WiFi, NFC, and a Type-C port as standard connectivity options. Also, the audio output on the LG V30+ is handled by a Hi-Fi Quad DAC.

Pricing and Availability

The LG V30+ is priced at Rs. 44,990 here in India. The device is available in Black and Silver colors as an Amazon Exclusive.
