Samsung launched its new fitness bands the Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e in India today. The company’s latest wearables in India are designed especially for millennials. The affordable Galaxy Fit sports a 0.74-inch POLED display while the Galaxy Fit features a 0.95-inch Full-Color AMOLED display, NFC support, wireless charging and more.

Galaxy Fit Features

The Galaxy Fit comes with a thin and lightweight body. It measures 18.3 x 45.1 x 11.2 mm and weighs just 23g. It sports a 0.95-inch Full-Colour AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 120 x 240 pixels. The strap of the band comes in Silver and Black colors.

The fitness band packs 512KB internal RAM, 2048KB external RAM, and 32MB external ROM. It is compatible with Android 5.0 or above also the phone should have more than 1.5GB RAM and iPhone running iOS 10.0 or above.

It comes with activity tracking, Heart Rate Monitor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope sensor. It packs a 120mAh battery with wireless charging support. The band comes with 5ATM water resistance rating and MIL-STD-810G durability certification. Connectivity features include Bluetooth LE and NFC.

Galaxy Fit e Features

The Galaxy Fit E measures 16 x 40.2 x 10.9 mm and weighs 15g. It sports a 0.74-inch PMOLED display with 64 x 128 pixels resolution. The strap of Fit e comes in Black, White and Yellow colors.

It packs 128KB internal RAM and 4MB external ROM. It is compatible with Android 5.0 or above with more than 1.5GB RAM and iPhone running iOS 9.0 or above. Connectivity feature includes Bluetooth LE.

It also comes with 5ATM water resistance and MIL-STD-810G certification for durability. It packs a 70mAh battery with Samsung POGO charging dock. The band comes with features like Activity & Sleep Tracking and Heart Rate Monitoring. It also has an accelerometer.

Price, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Fit is priced at Rs. 9990 and the Galaxy Fit e is priced at Rs. 2,590. The Galaxy Fit will be available via Flipkart, Myntra and Samsung Opera House starting from June 25. The Galaxy Fit e will be available via Flipkart, Myntra and Samsung e-Shop starting from July 5. These will also be made available offline after July 19.
